CREAIO is a cultural organisation based in Asturias. It was created in April 2024 to respond to the needs and challenges of the creative and cultural sectors, specially in remote, small and rural areas. Our location in the north-west of Spain, surrounded by nature, villages and culture, inspires us to develop projects that connect arts and culture with sustainable development, makes us thrive alongside other sectors and promotes the democratization of arts and culture.

We are an international team committed to culture, people and the planet. Because we are part of and passionate about the creative and cultural sectors, we are aware of their real and current needs. We believe in intersectoral, democratic and participative collaboration. Therefore, our team is formed of people with different cultural, educational and professional backgrounds: arts, economics, communication, biology, politics, education, data or IT.
