WINDS & ARTS

WINDS & ARTS – An immersive day of wind instruments, instrument making and creation in dialogue with the territory is a free cultural event held in Cadavedo (Asturias) that brings together wind music, lutherie, and cultural heritage in close connection with the surrounding landscape.

The project features concerts, encounters between musicians and audiences, and activities linked to Asturian musical traditions and local heritage, integrating both cultural and natural spaces of the area.

Designed with an annual continuity in mind, it aims to bring contemporary musical creation closer to rural environments while highlighting the cultural and landscape heritage of Cadavedo.

Winds&Flow

Music, Yoga, Nature. The International Music Retreats take place in remote and rural areas in the north of Spain. Winds&Flow creates a supportive, inclusive and collaborative space that empowers adult musicians and improves its mental and physical health through sport, yoga, breathing and the connection with nature.

EUROPEAN MILL DAYS

The European Mill Days is an initiative organised by the Fédération des Moulins de France. It is a unique European event that opens historic mills and other milling-related sites to the public, highlighting their cultural, local and landscape heritage.

Through visits, activities, meetings and educational events, the initiative brings together professionals, organisations and local communities around the living heritage of mills and their role in the European landscape.

Creaio participates as a partner in this network, supporting its dissemination and promoting new European connections between heritage, education, culture and rural development.

FLUTES Futures

Flute Futures is a European youth project supporting flutists aged 18–30 who face barriers to building sustainable music careers. Through international mobility, artistic collaboration and non-formal learning, participants develop professional, digital and entrepreneurial skills. The programme also promotes well-being, resilience and intercultural exchange.

Its pilot in Aarhus brings together young flutists from across Europe for intensive training and networking. 

Gijón Creativo

The project "Creaio: Promoting Culture and Creativity for Global Sustainable Development" is being developed in Gijón, Asturias, with the aim of of consolidating the role of art and culture as key tools for sustainable development.

This project is developed by Creaio and co-financed by the City of Gijón through Gijón Impulsa, as part of the Incentives Impulsa Program. Grants for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

YsOU Chamber music lab

The Chamber Music Lab is a cooperation between the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, NGO Cultural platform (Germany) and Creaio (Spain). Its core mission is to use music as a key tool for rebuilding, uniting, promoting cross-cultural cooperation and empowering young artists. During the project we will develop different activities and events in Germany and Spain. This is an European project co-funded by the European Union and the ZMINA: Rebuilding Project.

SUSRUR: Innovate

Creaio has been selected to participate in the European project SUSRUR: Innovate. During the 12-months project, Creaio will have the opportunity to meet organisations from different European rural and remote areas, attend training sessions focused on sustainable and innovative practices, develop sustainability plans for cultural tourism as well as obtain official sustainable development certifications. SUSRUR is a European project co-funded by the European Union.
